Yet another weekend has gone by and we still haven't had summer sunshine and temperatures. I recall a few good days at the beginning of May but since then it's been crappy - the last two weeks have been so wet and miserable. What I don't understand is that we're repeatedly being told by scientists that the globe is warming up - I think our summers are actually getting worse.
:-( It's not surprising more and more Brits are moving abroad. Let's hope June is a lot better.

If it will make you feel any better, [which I suppose it won't, but here goes anyway] I was waiting for spring. As it turns out, the spring that we had was colder than "normal", with temps in the 30's and 40F's. If your teeth weren't chattering, you were being drenched by the torrential rains as you were working on your arc. As of this weekend, seems as if summer slammed in with no warning! HOT HOT HOT!!! The humidity was enough to make you start sweating as soon as you stepped outside!
