Following the elation of Tuesday, it would have been total dreamland if Spurs had managed to overturn United on their own turf but it wasn't to be. I did in fact predict it exactly right with Keano scoring first and United winning 3-1 (unfortunately). However, that old cliche 'if only' came back to haunt us today as Spurs had some really great chances to win the game. Two of them fell to Jenas, the second of which he found himself one on one with the goalkeeper but it was a poor effort that went well wide. Berbatov came close too, just a yard from the goal, although the defender may have got more of a foot on the ball. The lads applied themselves well especially with an even more makeshift defence: Lee, Dawson, Huddlestone and O'Hara.

Spurs conceded the third goal with another goalkeeping error with Cerny letting the ball go under his body. A real shame because since keeping Robbo out of the team, he's done really well. I get the feeling Ramos will be looking seriously for another goalkeeper in the summer.
As soon as the match ended, I started to watch back the Arsenal game to cheer myself up. Always a good game to have to hand at times like this!
