A bit of a downer :-(

We were all called into meetings today at work; all we knew was that it was something to do with the structure of the teams within our department. When this happens, you always get suspicious and know that you're in for some news that isn't gonna please. Yep! What a downer - they're swapping our team leader Carole for another team leader on a nearby section so it's all change again. Carole has only been with us a year, although for me it seems a lot less because I was off long term sick for 5 months. No sooner do you get used to someone, they whip em away from you! She is such an easy person to get along with too - so approachable, laid back, good sense of humour, and just on a level with everyone. I sit opposite her so I will miss her immensly, as will everyone else on our team. I just hope her replacement lives up to Carole's credencials.
