I was so angry when I heard the news about paedophile Craig Sweeney. Not only had he commited sexual assault on a 6 year old girl previously and was released early from a mere 3 year sentence, but then after being found guilty of a similar offence and given a life sentence, it emerges that he could only serve 5 years! And this is purely because he pleaded guilty. What is that all about?!! Life should be life in my book. The bastard should've got life in the first place; these type of people always reoffend, they are scum and don't deserve a life. If he had killed the child, it would have been life. Sexual abuse of a child is the next worst thing in my opinion. After all, that child is going to be affected for the rest of her life and it has an impact on the whole family. It makes me sick and I really don't understand why our law is not stricter. Who are we trying to protect here?
