Everton 0 Spurs 0
It's been 64 games since Spurs have been involved in a goalless draw so I suppose it had to come sometime. To be fair, it's a good point earned as Everton have been consistently good at home this season. However, it sounded like a dreary game with not too many chances created.
Another different line-up in defence for Spurs this evening. Brand new signing Jonathan Woodgate made his debut, Chris Gunter who was bought from Cardiff a couple of weeks ago, Chimbonda back from suspension and Huddlestone still covering centre back. I wonder what combination we'll see on Saturday?
West Ham beat Liverpool with a penalty in the dying seconds and so unfortunately the gap between us and them has widened to eight points, and they have a game in hand. Hmmm....Spurs desperately need a decent winning run now.
PS. Happy birthday Mr. Berbatov!
